Porcelain Fused Metal

PFMPFM– Porcelain fused metal dental crowns, or PFMs as they are commonly referred to, consist of a layer of metal alloy at the base topped by porcelain. These are among the popular choices for dental restorations such as crowns or bridges

Types of Porcelain used for PFM’s

Initial – Each GC initial ceramic is adapted to meet the needs for its particular fabrication process and framework, such as its coefficient of thermal expansion. Stress cracks and fractures are therefore avoided, which assures strong bonding, adhesion and retention. Rich with Fluorescent properties. Fantastic shade match.

Creation – High-fusing metal-ceramic with unique optical and physical properties, which have developed constantly in line with growing esthetic demand. Creation material has a unique, lifelike esthetic. It has resilience due o consistently high flexural strength, and natural color effect and light dynamic due to leucite crystals.

VM13 – Is a high-esthetic; 3 dimensional, fine structure feldspar ceramic that is perfectly adapted to the CTE value of conventional bonding alloys, provides enormous processing reliability, particularly for alloys with the low solidus temperature. This VITA VM13 material gives the best VITAPAN 3D-Master shade match.
